This year since Easter was the same as conference it was a two weekend ordeal. First we had Grandma's party she sent on Friday, Saturday we had the Scates Easter Egg Hunt and Sunday was conference and Easter Sunday all wrapped in one. Then the next Sunday we were able to wear our Easter outfits. It was beautiful both weekends and the kids had so much fun. Sadly they did not get the Easter Bunny both Sundays.

Every child walked in front of the last two eggs forever. One was in the wreath, the other the Easter Bunny forgot that the candle was probably still warm and put an egg in the warm wax. Then when the candle was turned on, not knowing there was an egg, it put off a beautiful aroma. Needless to say that egg was never found by the children.
They all love to dye eggs, for about 10 minutes. So this year we did fewer eggs and faster dye.
Lydia loved just walking around the Scates Egg Hunt and seeing what everyone else had found.
