This weekend was all about the amphibians. We found a frog that the boys loved. Samuel kept it in a little bug hut and wanted to keep it as his pet. And we found two snakes. While the jury is still out on what kinds of snakes, we think one is harmless and one is a copper head. I have been very nervous about the snakes down here, and this just confirms my feelings. Everyone has been teaching us the proper way to encounter a snake, and how to help keep snakes at bay. There is no way to get rid of snakes, they are everywhere. This is definantly going to be a fear to overcome for me. Josiah and Samuel just want to know why they can't just pick them up and Caleb likes to look, but not touch. Hopefuly we will not see MANY more.
