Christmas 2008

Here are just a few pictures of our Christmas this year. We had lots of fun! We started the week with a party with the Scates Family, then we had a Children's Christmas Party sent be Grandma Chapman, and finally Grandpa and Grandma Scates arrived to spend Christmas with us. That brought shopping, games, eating, and hunting. It was so much fun! It's hard to believe it has already come and gone. All dressed up in their Christmas Best
Josiah and Lydia with their paper bag elf they made at the Children's Christmas Party

Caleb with his elf
Samuel with his elf. We had lots of fun at the party Grandma Chapman sent. We made elves, a Christmas chain, Christmas pick me up and yummy popcorn, It was so much fun to spend the afternoon with the kids doing fun activities.

New family games, Thanks Santa you must have known we needed these.
Cuyler's From Santa

These were my homemade gift to the children this year. I made them all quiet bags for church. maybe now we will make it through sacrament.

Here we come! Samuel was barely awake.

Lydia is finally going potty, so she was so excited to get my little pony panties.

Lydia with her new baby bed. Santa made her a little rag quilt and pillows.

Caleb with his Diji, he wouldn't put it down.

Grandpa over seeing the festivities

Grandma helping

Josiah with his new walking stick from Santa. He was so excited to get all his own camping/hunting gear.

Samuel continues to believe he is part wolf. So it seemed fitting for Santa to leave him his own wolf.

These are the darling blankets Grandma Scates made the boys for Christmas. They sit proudly on their beds if they are not being used.

Merry Christmas

Granny and Papa got the kids a popcorn maker with everything to pop and cute containers, and an ice cream maker with everything to make sundaes. We have already used both, and they love them.
