Kicking and Screaming

Soccer has arrived. And lets just say it has been quite the learning experience. The boys have not had that much in the way of play time in the past. They all are having tons of fun. These following pictures are of Saturdays games. Josiah's game was great, he had lots of enthusiasm ;). Caleb's game was just comical. Cuyler and I felt like we were watching a movie. The team they were playing was a competitive team from another league. They all showed up at the same time, most from the team van. All BOYS (they couldn't believe we had GIRLS on our team) were wearing amazing uniforms with matching back packs and water jugs. As they began their warm up routine, Caleb and two of his team mates stood in awe watching. All of the parent's just sat on the side lines and laughed. What, even the coaches have matching get ups and a clipboard with play lists. Hate to tell them, our team was not one for the charts. However, they did the best they could under the circumstances. Caleb just kept say " Look at them, we can't possibly beat them". Our team had fun, isn't that what counts! Better luck next time. Caleb #3
